A demonstration against government cost-cutting is getting underway in Auckland despite a split in the protest movement.
Two groups have pulled out of the Queen Street march following suggestions of civil disobedience during the Rugby World Cup.
The march attracted just a small crowd ahead of its kick-off at 12.30pm.
Those who have turned up deny they plan to flour bomb games during the Cup.
