An earthquake has been felt in Palmerston North and other parts of the Manawatu as well as in northern Wairarapa and southern Hawkes Bay.
It was recorded at 1.48 this afternoon and measured 4.3 on the Richter scale.
The shake was located 10 kilometres north of Eketahuna, at a depth of 40 kilometres.
