An 18-year-old man has admitted his involvement in an attack on a pet goat south of Auckland.
Kurt Sharp, 18, of Waiuku, yesterday admitted a charge of wilful ill-treatment of an animal causing death. He will reappear for sentencing in Pukekohe District Court next month.
The SPCA alleged the goat was tethered to a car and forced to run behind it. When the goat could no longer run, it was dragged for several kilometres.
