Capill admits further sexual offending

Disgraced former Christian Heritage Party leader Graham Capill today pleaded guilty in Christchurch District Court to five more sex offences against young girls, including one of rape.

Capill, 46, previously admitted a charge of indecently assaulting a young girl.

After further complaints by two girls aged under 12 at the time of the offences, Capill today pleaded guilty to rape, unlawful sexual connections and three further charges of indecent assault.

Capill was remanded in custody until July for sentencing.
