Scribe picks up two awards

Hip-hop artist Scribe and 11-piece band Te Vaka took double honours at the Pacific Music Awards on Saturday night.

Te Vaka won Best Pacific Group and the Tui for the Best Pacific Music Album for Olatia, and Scribe won the NZ Music Commission Best Pacific Male Artist Award for his second album, Rhyme Book.

He was also a co-winner with Tyra Hammond, Aaron Iusitini and Jordan Iusitini for Say It Again in the APRA Best Pacific Song category.
