Kiwi kids planning to see Aussie children's entertainment group Hi-5 during their House of Dreams tour later this month may be shattered to learn the group has postponed its visit.
The group was scheduled to visit Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland from January 23.
But today, promoter Live Nation announced that "due to a change in international filming commitments", the tour would be pushed back nine months to October 2016.
"Live Nation and Hi-5 apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that all New Zealand Hi-5 fans will be able to attend the shows later this year," they said.
"People holding tickets to current shows will be able to transfer these to the rescheduled shows through the relevant ticketing agencies."
Tickets for the event went on sale on October 14, 2015 -- meaning some keen fans who got in early will have to wait nearly a year to see the group.
The new tour dates are:
• Saturday, October 1 - ASB Theatre, Auckland
• Wednesday, October 5 - Isaac Theatre Royal, Christchurch
• Saturday, October 8 - St James Theatre, Wellington
Hi-5 was launched in Australia in 1998 with five performers entertaining children aged 2 to 8 with music, movement, problem solving and play.
