His first Auckland show sold out. So did a hastily added second show. So now he's scrapping both those shows, and moving to a much larger venue.
The man responsible for this frenzy is Yelawolf, a heavily tattooed American singer-rapper who was scheduled to play Auckland venue The Studio on December 4.
But that show sold out in just 30 minutes, forcing promoters to add a second show on December 3.
When that show sold out too, promoters scrapped both shows. Yelawolf will now play Trusts Stadium in Waitakere on December 4.
That's a much larger venue: The Studio holds around 700-800, but Trusts Stadium's capacity is closer to 4000, with an age limit of R15.
All tickets for Yelawolf's Studio shows are valid for the new venue. Refunds are available for those holding December 3 tickets who can't make the Trusts Stadium show.
Yelawolf released his second studio album Love Story through Eminem's Shady Records in April.
Tickets are available through Dash Tickets.
