Two gorgeous girls from the Tui Brewery in Mangatainoka delivered "refreshments," to a team of road workers who helped re-open the Manawatu gorge.
Crates of beer were trucked in as a thank you, following a recent announcement that both lanes of the gorge had re-opened to traffic for the first time in over a year.
"We are celebrating that Tui HQ has once again become a popular destination for the good folk of Palmerston North to visit," Tui HQ manager Jenny Holmes said.
"But of course this is thanks to workers who have spent the last 13 months - in the rain, snow and wind, clearing the road for everyone to enjoy and have a sense of normality return to their travels."
Tui Brewery girls were allowed an afternoon off the bottling line to personally deliver some cold beers.
