Charlotte Ryan loves music. The bFM DJ is the host of daily radio show Morning Glory, a magazine style show that covers everything from fashion to cooking to beauty to brand new music. "I have a huge passion for music so love introducing people to new songs I
love," says Ryan, who has previously worked as a brand manager for the station, as well as a manager and publicist for various local bands. When she's not on the radio, she's Mum to 1-year-old Annie, as well as doing publicity for international tours including Kraftwerk and Roberta Flack.
As well as being obsessed with music, Ryan has a passion for vintage and is "always on the hunt for bargains". Her favourite designers reflect her casual but feminine style, including Kate Sylvester, Juliette Hogan, Workshop, Deborah Sweeney, Lover and Chloe. But her favourite accessory beats them all: "My daughter Annie - she looks cute with anything I wear."
What do you wear to work?
I find that if I feel great, I do a great show - with that in mind I take my time to get ready in the morning. I have a huge array of dresses that I usually choose from, coupled with a flat shoe.
What was the last item of clothing you bought?
The little black dome dress from Workshop.
What do you really want this coming season?
The ivory faux pony fur jacket from Kate Sylvester - pretty please!
Most cherished item?
My antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring. It's reminiscent of Princess Diana 's.
The one fashion rule you always break... or that you think should never have been a rule in the first place?
"Don't wear too much black" - I wear black all the time and love it.
Best fashion bargain?
One of my best finds was a vintage YSL shoulder bag from the Portobello Markets.
Who does the best shoes?
Chuck Taylors for daytime. For the evening I've a selection of Fast & Loose heels and boots .
Who do the best jeans?
Wrangler denim - they do great denim dresses too!
Favourite fashion-y movie?
Rosemary's Baby. I love all the fabrics and colours throughout the film - and the cute dresses and cropped jackets that Mia Farrow wears.
Dress to impress whom?
Matthias - my delicious husband-to-be.
Most underrated item in fashion?
Good lingerie - I especially like Elle Macpherson.
Best T-shirt slogan?
I hate slogan tees with a passion!
Is there anything you think the fashion police should ban?
95bfm is all about freedom of expression, I would hate to stifle anyone's individuality!

David Bowie, The Kills, Vampire Weekend, LCD Soundsystem, The Mint Chicks, The Clean, Grace Jones.
