A final guide to those attending the Big Day Out today ...
TICKETS The event is sold out. There will be no gate sales.
MONEY EFTPOS will be available on site, but it's advisable to bring some cash with you.
CLOTHING Be prepared for a hot day (use sunblock, wear a hat) but take enough warm clothing in case the weather changes and when the temperature drops after dark. There is coat and bag check available
CAMERAS Personal photography cameras are okay but professional still-cameras, video cameras and audio recorders are not allowed.
TRANSPORT An express bus service runs from the city to Ericsson Stadium from the Downtown Bus Terminal, via Real Groovy Records in Queen St, from 9.15 am to 6 pm.
Buses from the stadium run from the venue to Downtown from 10.30 pm until 11.45 pm with connections to North Shore buses.
Trains from West Auckland run hourly from 9.05 am stopping at Waitakere, Swanson, Henderson, New Lynn, Mt Albert, Kingsland, Newmarket and Penrose.
Getting home, trains from Penrose to West Auckland will run half-hourly from 9.30 pm until midnight There will be taxi stands near the stadium.
WEATHER FORECAST The forecast is for mainly fine weather with a top temperature of 24 degrees C.
PROGRAMME CHANGES Australian punk band Frenzal Rhomb have cancelled because of a member breaking his arm, meaning the early afternoon Green Stage programme will be rejigged. Also, Stellar* are now not playing. Their 2.45 pm green-stage slot has been taken by Dark Tower. Final programmes will be available at the gate.
ALCOHOL Any alcohol brought in will be confiscated. If you want to drink you will need to present photo ID at the wristband tent to allow you access to the bars.
PARKING Limited parking will be available in the stadium carpark off O'Rorke Rd but with the event sold out, it may fill early.
