The Naked and Famous are playing a one-off show in Auckland this summer and the best part is it's totally free.

Thanks to iHeartRadio and 2degrees, the Kiwi favourites are bringing their Simple Forms world tour home on January 10, when they'll play the Logan Campbell Centre.

Alisa Xayalith (vocals, keyboards), Thom Powers (vocals, guitars), Jesse Wood (drums), David Beadle (bass) and Aaron Short (keyboards) have been taking over the world with their electronic dream-pop since 2007.

They moved to LA in 2012 and have since gone on to play to sell-out crowds around the US and across Canada, the UK, Europe, South America and Asia, including playing major festivals like Coachella and Austin City Limits.

Their Simple Forms tour began last month off the back of their latest album by the same name, and has already seen them book some 60 shows in 14 different countries - but they've still made time to come home.
