Los Angeles rapper Vince Staples will return to New Zealand in December for a victory lap after a year that's included his Laneway debut and a critically acclaimed EP.
Staples, 23, will perform at San Fran in Wellington on December 6, and at Auckland's Powerstation on December 7.
The Long Beach rapper made his New Zealand debut earlier this year at Auckland's Laneway festival, performing on the back of 2015's best rap album Summertime '06.
This time he'll be playing in support of a new EP, Prima Donna, as well as a series of guest appearances for Clams Casino, James Blake and Flume.
It will cap off a stellar year for local hip-hop shows with appearances by Schoolboy Q and Method Man and Redman due before the end of the year.
Tickets for the shows go on sale on October 6 via www.nonstoptix.com for Wellington and www.aaaticketing.co.nz for Auckland.
