After missing the last film, Matt Damon is back for the series' fifth installment Jason Bourne.
In the run-up to the release of the full trailer later this week, Universal have put out a sequence of short, six-second teasers showing the CIA assassin in action.
Damon last appeared as Jason Bourne nine years ago in The Bourne Ultimatum. Having played the role three times, he missed the fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, released in 2012.
Jeremy Renner played the film's protagonist in the 2012 film instead. He starred as Aaron Cross, a black ops agent and an original character from the Robert Ludlum books which the franchise is based on.
In the clips, fans are teased with glimpses of Damon as Bourne disappearing from prying eyes, setting a fire, escaping on motorcycles in a high-speed chase and knocking out opponents in fight scenes. Everything a fan of the franchise could hope for.
Paul Greengrass, who directed both The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, will return to the director's chair, while actress Julia Stiles will reprise her role as Nicky Parsons.
Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, and Tommy Lee Jones have also joined the cast. Vikander is briefly featured in the first teaser trailer.
