Kanye West is packing away his CDs after announcing in a series of tweets he will produce music for streaming only.
"I was thinking about not making CDs ever again... Only streaming," Kanye said.
The US rapper explained his 2013 album Yeezus, which was simply covered by a plain plastic case with a red sticker, was a farewell to the music format.
"The Yeezus album packaging was an open casket to CDs. r.i.p," he tweeted.

Kanye's latest album, The Life of Pablo, created quite a stir among fans after her released the tracks via Jay Z's streaming service Tidal.
Jay Z is a co-owner of Tidal along with other artists including Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys and Calvin Harris.
The Life of Pablo was released in sync with the unveiling of the Kanye's fashion line Yeezy Season 3 at New York City's Madison Square Garden last month.
