Louis Tomlinson has reportedly named his baby son Sydney Rain.

The 24-year-old singer and ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth welcomed their little boy into the world on Friday and have apparently decided on a moniker for the tot, though it is not yet clear whose surname the baby will take.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Louis and Briana are yet to file a birth certificate but they've agreed on the name Sydney Rain. It will be rubber-stamped in the next five days.

"It's not yet known whether the baby boy will take Briana's surname or Tomlinson."

The One Direction hunk - who is now romancing Danielle Campbell - and the stylist also need to agree terms for custody and financial support of the little boy.

The source added: "There's already a lot of talk about who is going to pay what. The family have slightly exaggerated expectations of what Louis should be contributing every month."

Louis confirmed yesterday that his "pretty amazing" baby had been born.

He tweeted: "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!"

Just minutes after his first tweet the excited new dad posted the lyrics to Boney M.'s 1976 popular hit Daddy Cool and wrote: "Daddy Daddy cool" and soon after, followed it up with a string of smiley emojis.
