It was the podcast that turned everyone into a detective. And now they're doing it all again.
Serial, the hit podcast that's been downloaded more than 80 million times, has confirmed they've chosen a "story" to use for a second season.
Hosted by Sarah Koenig, the first season of 12 episodes aired online and followed the 1999 murder of 17-year old Baltimore schoolgirl Hae Min Lee in extreme detail.
In an email sent to fans today, Serial confirmed season two would begin later this year.
"We've carefully reviewed more than 1500 submissions and are excited to announce that we've selected our next story.
"We don't have a definitive launch date but we're hard at work on production and hope we can bring it to you by this fall."
Fall in America would make it around September in New Zealand.
