Madonna was reportedly late for her jury service slot in a New York City courthouse today.
The 55-year-old singer was accused of receiving "special treatment" after she turned up 30 minutes after her scheduled arrival time protected by three policemen, two bodyguards, two court officials and an assistant.
After arriving at the court, the Material Girl hitmaker - who dodged a jury summons in May with a doctor's note - set off the security system with her "heavy metal chains" and was then ushered into the private clerk's office instead of the regular jury assembly room.
Professor Marianne Pita told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "That's pretty outrageous. It's a painfully long day and it doesn't seem quite right. Everyone should have to wait in the same line."
The blonde beauty angered jurors even more when she was not questioned for a panel and was allowed to leave early to prevent her presence from being a distraction.
