Technical glitches have stopped many fans watching the premiere of Game of Thrones.
Just weeks after HBO Go crashed during the finale of True Detective, the same streaming service failed as HBO subscribers tried to log on to watch the first episode of the show's fourth season.
Instead, many upset viewers were met with long loading times or a message reporting a "fatal error".

HBO Go issued an apology via Twitter and the problem was fixed about an hour after the show premiered.
In March the streaming service crashed during the finale of True Detective due to "overwhelming interest" in the show.
Games of Thrones season four screens here on SoHo at 8.30pm.
