Over the past year there has been a boom in rad songs being released by Kiwi artists. In light of Waitangi Day yesterday (hope you had a happy birthday New Zealand!), we though it'd be the prefect opportunity to compile a playlist of great NZ tracks that we're digging right now.

Lorde, David Dallas, The Naked and Famous have all made their mark overseas, while new comers Broods, who's debut E.P. dropped today, are set to be the next big thing.

The Phoenix Foundation and London-based band, The Veils, both released great albums last year and Aaradhna's Dapper Man team-up with P-Money is catchy as heck.

Yes, this list may be missing the New Zealand greats: Dave Dobbyn, The Mutton Birds, Crowded House, Shihad - who will always hold a special place in our hearts - but there is no denying all the talented young blood coming from New Zealand.
