Kiwi singing sensation Lorde, who also performed at the music awards, won the category sponsored by Xbox - the Xbox One International Achievement Award - along with several other categories, and was presented with an Xbox One console in addition to the "Tui" award itself.
The lucky recipient of the first (and previously shark-guarded) Xbox One, was Daniel Livingstone
The Xbox One is now available in New Zealand, with a recommended retail price of $749.00. The launch will continue to roll out as midnight moves around the world, releasing next in Australia before heading to the USA later on today.
