- just three weeks after the singer allegedly assaulted her - and has vowed to support her decision.

Speaking from his family home in Barbados, Ronald Fenty appears to be backing the widespread rumour that the singers have called a truce and are working things out between them.

Fenty told

Us Weekly

:

"I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that's the road she wants to choose, I'm behind her.

"We are a family who stick together even though we are apart,"

he added.

Rihanna is believed to be shacked up with Brown on Miami Beach's Star Island at a home belonging to

Sean "Diddy" Combs

, and the pair are said to be making attempts to resolve their differences.

A snitch tells

People

magazine: "

They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other

. They feel like staying in and working through their issues. So far they have not wanted to go out.

"While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves," adds the snitch.

Rumour has it that Brown instigated the reconciliation after he called her last week to wish her a happy 21st birthday.

"They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual," says another snitch.

Brown was

booked by Los Angeles cops

last month for making criminal threats, but the case has yet to go to court. Reports surfaced last week that Brown's mooted March 5 court appearance could be delayed because the LAPD were still gathering evidence.

The

Run It

singer has remained mostly tight-lipped about the alleged incident; bar from a short statement to the press, saying, "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired."

It was a statement that some say was too little, too late, and did little to undo the damage already inflicted on his career.

Meanwhile, insiders say that Brown faces an uphill struggle to redeem himself and hold on to his R&B crown following the controversy. His songs have been yanked from radio playlists in the U.S, he's lost product endorsements, and now reports say he's to be

"erased" from the promotional campaign

for the forthcoming movie

Bone Deep

.

Brown stars in the film alongside

T.I

, and movie studio Sony Screen Gems had planned for the star to be the centerpiece of the film's marketing campaign, appearing in commercials and posters, but that idea has been scrapped.

Brown is still expected to feature in the film.

Stay tuned as the story develops...

Not preggers

Nicole Kidman

has trashed rumours that she's expecting another bambino.

Kidders sparked speculation last week that she was pregnant after she was snapped posing with her arms covering her stomach at a red carpet event. See

exhibit A

here

But reps for both Kidman and her hubby

Keith Urban

say there's absolutely "no truth" to the pregnancy claim.

Axl Rose calls Slash a "Cancer"

Any

Guns N' Roses

fans still holding a torch for a magical reunion of the band's original line-up, take note - it'll be a cold day in hell before it happens, trust us.

Axl Rose

, the only remaining member of the original line-up, says former bandmate

Slash

is a "cancer".

In an interview with AOL Music's website Spinner.com, Rose says, "I suppose Duff could play guitar on something somewhere, but

there's zero possibility of me having anything to do with Slash

...

In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided

- and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters the better."

The singer then goes on to trash Slash's musical skills, claiming he's wasted his talent and turned into "a whore for the limelight".

Steady on, mate.

Guy Bitchy

It was only a matter of time before fresh details of the animosity between exes

Madonna

and

Guy Ritchie

emerged.

Despite making an effort to put on a united front for the sake of the kids, insiders say there is absolutely no love lost between the two. Things have gotten so bad between them, Ritchie can't even bring himself to say her name.

An anonymous snitch (as if there's any other kind) tells Britain's

Sun

that there was "absolutely no love lost" between the celeb couple, even before they

announced their split last October

.

"Even towards the end of their marriage, he would call her

'It'

. He told people, 'We can't make

'It'

angry',"

"Or Guy (would) say, 'Oh,

'It'

is in a bad mood today'," the snitch said.

And in true Madonna style, when asked about Guy Bitchy's comments, the singer, or her rep at least, had this to say:

"It hasn't been in a bad mood since the divorce was finalised."

You go girl!

Bad boy Bono

U2

star

Bono

launched a scathing attack on

Coldplay

singer

Chris Martin

on British radio last week, branding him a

"w*****"

and a

"cretin"

.

During a radio interview to promote new album,

No Line on the Horizon

, Bono dropped the 'W' bomb, and launched into a foul-mouthed attack on Martin on Radio 1.

On the show broadcast live last week, DJ Jo Wiley asked Bono if he thought Martin was as talented as Paul McCartney.

Bono replied: "I think he's that good a melodist, but he's a w*****."

The singer added,"He's obviously a completely dysfunctional character and a cretin but he happens to be a great melodist and up there with

Ray Davis

,

Noel Gallagher

and

Paul McCartney

."

He then attempted to backtrack,"I think they [Coldplay] are a great band and actually, it turns out he’s a great soul as well. Sorry about that. I was just joking entirely."

Oh really?...We think not.

Sex And The City - spoiler alert!

And here come the SATC movie sequel plot rumours.

*Do not read any further if you want to remain clueless about the new movie's plot:

Rumour:

Carrie will have a baby in the sequel, and...Big will do the dirty on her and have an affair. Love rat.
