Temporary traffic management will be in place to make way for new lanes in Tauranga's Eastern Link on April 12 through to April 13.

A variety of traffic management will be in preparation for eastbound (Tauranga to Domain) and westbound (Domain to Tauranga) traffic to be moved onto the westbound lanes.

Line marking and road sweeping will be carried out in preparation for the traffic switch when all east and westbound traffic will be moved onto the new westbound lanes.

Contractors will then be able to start road surface repairs on the existing eastbound lanes.

It is expected this road layout will be in place until the end of April 2015.

During this time Bruce Rd traffic will be required to use temporary on and off ramp exits.
