I am pleased to see that the city council is reconsidering its secret meetings and briefings.
The decision to commence public-excluded meetings, after the last election, would have been one made by what was basically a new council, with seven newly elected representatives without understanding the bigger implications.
If, as reported, there have been one or more public excluded meeting, each week, I cannot understand how you can go from virtually none to more than 50 in just 12 months from the last election. This is entirely inappropriate.
