Wet week ahead for the Bay

The Bay of Plenty is set for rain for the next 10 days, according to the latest MetService 10 day forecast.

From today, rain is expected before easing by Saturday before returning in full force from Sunday to next Thursday.

The full 10 day forecast is as follows:

Today: Drizzle turns to rain afternoon. Northeast strengthens.
Thursday: Heavy rain, then a few showers. Westerly change.
Friday: A few showers. Westerlies freshening.
Saturday: Becoming fine. Westerlies dying away.
Sunday: Rain with light winds.

Monday: Showers with northwesterlies
Tuesday: Showers. Northwesterlies
Wednesday: Showers with westerlies.
Thursday: Showers. Southwesterlies
