Expected Bay traffic delays this week

Bay of Plenty motorists are advised to expect more delays across the region from today as other road works are completed.

Inroads said road works and delays would affect the following areas:

1. Speed restrictions, a stop and go operation and delays are expected near Te Puna Stream Bridge on State Highway 2 between 9am and 4pm until March 31.

2. A detour for northbound traffic, a stop and go operation and delays are expected between from Collins Lane to Te Puke Quarry Rd on SH2 until April 3.

3. A speed restriction will be in place and delays are expected near Kaituna Bridge on SH2.

4. Speed restrictions, a stop and go operation and delays are expected near Thorn Rd on SH29, lower Kaimai ranges, over a 1km section.

5. Speed restrictions, a stop and go operation and delays are expected over a 1km section
near Ngamuwahine Bridge until the end of April.

6. Speed restrictions, a stop and go operation and delays are expected between Taumata Rd and Mangatoi Road on SH36 until mid April.
