Wanganui vs King Country
<div><span>Wanganui, beaten finalists in last year's Meads Cup, started their 2011 campaign in emphatic fashion before about 1000 spectators at an overcast Cooks Gardens.</span></div> <div><span>Against a largely woeful King Country, they were 36 points to the good by halftime and evetually reached the half-century.
