New Zealand Opera School students sing
Opera School students thrilled shoppers at the Wanganui River Traders' Market on Saturday with their performance of the Brindisi, the drinking song from the opera La Traviata. Students and tutors of 17th New Zealand Opera School at Wanganui Collegiate performed at a special morning service in the Collegiate Chapel on Sunday. In Praise of Music was dedicated to Joan Jones, who died last year, was a professional contralto and accomplished vocal tutor.
