National Paintball tournament

Chronicle photographer Bevan Conley joined up with local paintball team Disturbed on a practice run ahead of the the national paintball tournament held in Wanganui over the weekend. The five-man team is in it's first season. Players shoot about 600 rounds each per game, 12.5 rounds a second with shots travelling about 300 feet per second. Sunday’s competition was won by Feilding team the Expendables who have now won the overall competition with a round to spare. That final round will also be held in Wanganui at the Country Club next month.
