A woman who crashed her car went on to swear and spit at police.
Rawinia Wiari pleaded guilty on Whanganui District Court on Tuesday to three counts of resisting police, disorderly behaviour, refusing an officers request for a blood sample and failure to answer bail.
Police prosecutor Rachel Willemsen told the court on the evening of February 18 Wiari sped into Fitzherbert Avenue exceeding the speed limit. As she turned a corner into the street she lost control of the vehicle, spinning out, putting the vehicle on the footpath facing towards the road.
Unable to start her car she asked the people at a nearby house for help. When they refused, she shouted and swore at them.
She was going to a second house when the police arrived at the scene.
