Indelible is the name of Craig Sharp's exhibition at Space Gallery in Taupo Quay.
"It is about song lyrics and tattoos," says the artist.
"Just like tattoos can't be erased from your skin, song lyrics can't be erased from your memory."
The exhibition features portraits of some of the world's best-loved musicians with their song titles illustrated in tattoos on their bodies.
Freddie Mercury has the word "scaramouche" tattooed on his neck and Bob Marley has a lion on his chest while David Bowie has astronaut Major Tom sitting on his sternum.
