As many as four sharks, one about six metres long, have been spotted along the coast of the Gulf St Vincent near Adelaide.
In the latest sighting surf lifesavers spotted a two metre shark swimming away from Semaphore jetty at around 1pm on Sunday.
Less than half an hour earlier a shark had been seen 50m from shore near Normanville, around 77 km south of Adelaide.
Earlier a six metre shark was spotted 3km off Glenelg beach and a large shark was seen a similar distance from West Beach, according to SA police.
Police cautioned people to be careful on the water on Sunday following the sightings.
