WeatherWatch: Settled week ahead

Westerly winds from the Roaring Forties will dominate the South Island and lower North Island’s weather next week, while a high will bring mostly settled weather for the upper North Island – ending next week with northerlies. The mild week ahead reduces the chances of frosts nationwide – but it will be a very cold this Saturday for a number of inland regions of both islands with heavy frosts in Central Otago.
