A Brit-Pop Street Party will be held later this month to welcome the Great British Car Rally into town.
The rally is travelling from Auckland to Christchurch, and is due to arrive in Masterton on February 20.
Local people have been invited to join the party to view the collection of vintage and modern British cars as they park up in Queen Street.
The rally has been organised by the British High Commission, and is fundraising money for four New Zealand charities. The charities are the Starship Foundation, Save the Children Fund, Stepping Stone Trust and the Christchurch City Mission.
The party will be held from 12.30pm until 2.30pm and there will be spot prizes for the best dressed.
Sponsors of the event include Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini and Rolls- Royce.
Local British car clubs have also been invited to join the convoy into town and participate in the public display.
The cost is $20 per vehicle, with all proceeds going to charity.
