Santa chose the perfect present for a penguin fan like me when he put Planet Penguin in my stocking at Christmas.

It's a slim volume of penguin photos with speech bubbles showing what they just might be saying.

Grant Sheehan's stunning pictures are a wonderful reminder of a visit to the Sub-Antarctic Islands a few years ago while the humorous captions brought a fresh smile to my lips with every new page.

This charming little book is definitely a keeper for my coffee table.
