Prime Minister Bill English is on his way to Edgecumbe after news the Rangitaiki River has burst its banks. The clean up following the incident is going to be a "big job" according to English but he is always impressed with how resilient people are under these difficult circumstances.
However the main issue that has captured the nation's attention concerning our Prime Minister is the fact that he puts pineapple and canned spaghetti on his homemade pizza.

English recently posted photos on Facebook of his self-prepared family dinner to the consternation of much of New Zealand. The Prime Minister says the decision to post the snaps came after being asked a few times if he likes pineapple on pizza.
Moving on to a more serious event, The Country's Dom George asks Bill English why there will be no inquiry into the raid involving New Zealand SAS soldiers in Nicky Hagar's book Hit and Run.
