Glee, a new musical comedy-drama, is one of the hottest shows on TV in America this year and it is set to start on TV3 in November.
The show follows high school teacher Will Schuester (played by little-known actor Matthew Morrison) who goes about restoring McKinley High School's fading glee club - that's a choir by the way - to its former greatness. While he has a few keen-as-beans students striving to reach their true potential, he also has to try to turn a bunch of misfits into singing stars as well as dealing with the conniving cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester.
But Will has a few tricks up his sleeve and when he discovers the football team's quarterback Finn Hudson is a talented singer, he blackmails him into joining the glee club.
Glee is created by Ryan Murphy, best known for plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck. Critics have compared it to Freaks and Geeks-meets-Fame, with a little High School Musical thrown in.
