Take a cue and let's play pool

With a new venue for the Taranaki Masters Games pool competition, organiser Jacki Berry says the event will be better than ever.

Jacki says the pool event is always a fun and social day with competitors travelling from throughout Taranaki to get involved. "It's a great day to meet new pool players from all over the region."

The only change to the schedule this year is that the event will now be held at the TET Multisport Centre, says Jacki, adding that the bar and restaurant will be open throughout the day for competitors.

Jacki says the pool event includes a singles and pairs competition.

"If you haven't got a partner to play with we can find someone for you - every year we have extra singles players wanting to join the pairs competition."

The competition is open to competitors aged 35 years and over and entries can be accepted on the day of competition. "So pick up your pool cue and lets get playing."

The Taranaki Masters Games pool competition is on Saturday, March 19, from 9am. Entry forms at www.taranakielectricitytrust. co.nz/masters-games.htm. Single players looking for a partner call Jacki: 027 292 7707.
