Stratford identity appointed to TET

Andrew Wood, of Stratford, had been appointed to the Taranaki Electricity Trust to fill a vacancy created by the untimely and sad death of Brick Mathieson.

Andrew is a well-known Stratford identity and he has had a long and active interest in the Trust's endeavours over the past years commented chairman Brian Jeffares.

He brings to the trust an established background in community activities, having been on the boards of Swimming Taranaki and the South Taranaki Kindergarten Association for a number of years.

Andrew is married and has two children and says that he is delighted to be appointed and to be able to play an active role in an organisation that he believes has had a considerable impact on the community of people who live in the TET area.
