The Parents and Family Resource Centre, a charitable volunteer community support service based at Green Lane Hospital for the past 10 years, is looking for new premises.
The Herald has decided to help. The centre must move as the hospital is planning to demolish its building and no alternative accommodation is available.
It needs about 3000 sq ft of space for long-term lease and preferably with parking, in an area accessible from all over Auckland. It can afford to pay $20,000 a year in rent and outgoing expenses. Ideally, the centre would like security of both tenure and rental.
Anyone able to help the group, which offers support to parents and caregivers of children with conditions such as Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy and attention deficit disorder, please contact Bruce McLuckie on 025-273-9666.
