Australian captain George Gregan will become the sixth player in international rugby to reach 90 appearances when he leads the defending champions against Argentina tomorrow night.
When the tournament ends on November 22, the halfback could climb to fourth in the all-time test appearance list.
Gregan, who made his debut in 1994, would still be 21 caps behind recordholder Philippe Sella, of France, who made 111 appearances between 1982 and 1995.
After Sella are England prop Jason Leonard with 106 tests, former Australian wing David Campese (101), French fullback Serge Blanco (93) and former All Black captain Sean Fitzpatrick (92).
