Tennis: Another good day for Kiwi doubles stars

Another good day for Kiwi tennis players in China.

In form Michael Venus is through to another ATP semi final, reaching the last four with partner Mate Pavic at the Shenzhen Open.

The third seeds have beaten Israel's Jonathan Erlich and Mexican Santiago Gonzalez 6-4, 6-4.

Fellow Kiwi Artem Sitak has reached the semi finals at the Chengdu Open with partner Nicholas Monroe.

They've beaten an Indian pair 6-4, 6-3.

Queenstown's Ben McLachlan had a good win in the first round of the US$1000,000 Challenger at Tiburon, California. McLachlan teamed with American Mackenzie McDonald to defeat Yuki Bhambri (India) and John Paul Fruttero (United States) 6-3 4-6 10-3.

At the euro 106,500 Orleans Challenger in France Marcus Daniell and Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner are the top seeds and have won in to the quarter-finals.
