The Tall Blacks have ended their World Cup warm up campaign with a massive result.
Nenad Vucinic's side has beaten top 10 rated Serbia 102-96 in Belgrade after leading 52-43 at halftime.
Assistant coach Paul Henare says the result is right up there.
"Huge win for us. To beat Serbia in Belgrade down on a very tough home floor it's just an outstanding result. I always thought the last couple of weeks we've been close on getting results, just a bit of trying and obviously really proud of the guys."
Kirk Penney top scored with 29 points while Mika Vukona added 22 and Tai Webster 21.
The Tall Blacks are drawn in Group C at the FIBA World Cup alongside Turkey, Dominican Republic, USA, Ukraine, and Finland.
Game one against Turkey is on August 30th in Bilbao, Spain.
