Tim Wilkinson has made a steady start to the RBD Heritage tournament on the PGA Tour in South Carolina with a one-under 70 during his first round.

The Manawatu left-hander was in a share of 20th after the opening day today, while fellow Kiwi Danny Lee carded a one-over 72 to sit in a tie for 55th.

There's a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard at the Harbour Town Golf Links with Americans Matt Kuchar, Scott Langley and William McGirt all at five-under.

Meanwhile, on the LPGA Tour, North Shore 16-year-old Lydia Ko has dropped down the leaderboard after the second round of the Lotte Championship in Hawaii.

Ko fired a one-under 71 in her second round today to sit in a share of 20th to be at one-under for the tournament after she opened with an even-par 72 yesterday.

Ko is seven strokes back from leader Angela Stanford (-8) who fired an eight-under 64 in her second round to storm to the top of the leaderboard.
