What do you get when you put a Kiwi and a snake in the same room?

Sonny Bill Williams at his fleet-footed best.

The dual international showed an impressive turn of speed after a snake was discovered inside the New Zealand Rugby League World Cup squad's training base at Narrabeen on Sydney's northern beaches.

Williams was caught on camera running for cover when the metre-long reptile was scooped up by his Sydney Roosters teammate Frank-Paul Nu'uausala and pointed in his direction.

Williams ran over to a group of his fellow Kiwis who were just as scared - one even hiding behind a chair.

Frank Pritchard and Alex Glenn, who posted the video on Instagram, led a chorus of laughter as Williams dashed across the room.

The Kiwis fly to Britain this week to defend the Rugby League World Cup.
