The Blues and Chiefs dominate the top NZ Herald Fantasy Super Rugby scorers after the opening three weeks.
Following a 45-3 thrashing of the Cheetahs on Saturday it's no surprise that the Chiefs lead the way.
Six players in the Chiefs squad have scored at least 30 points over the last two rounds with Tim Nanai-Williams leading the way with 53 points.
Gareth Anscombe has paid dividends to those Fantasy owners that put faith in him early in the season scoring 30 points against the Cheetahs to take his season tally to 49. He's kicked 16 from 17 over that time.
Morne Steyn has been equally impressive for the Bulls with another solid performance against the Force, even adding a try for good measure. He sits in second behind Nanai-Williams with the most points (51) over the last two weeks.
What people probably didn't expect was the sudden rise of the Blues. The Blues lead the New Zealand Conference after back to back wins and it shows in the In Form list with four players appearing in the top 10 after the side's 34-15 win over the Crusaders.
Luke Braid (32), Steven Luatua (30), Frank Halai (27) and Charles Piutau (17) have been solid picks early in the season.
The Crusaders are playing catch-up after a week two bye and a defeat to the Blues with Dan Carter (15), Sam Whitelock (15) and Kieran Read (14) the only scorers of note last week.
The Crusaders and Hurricanes clash on Friday night as both sides seek their first win of 2013. The Rebels host the Reds also on Friday. New Zealand's third winless team the Highlanders face the Cheetahs who coughed up a lot of points in the second half to the Chiefs. Newcomers the Southern Kings face their first real challenge against the Sharks while the Blues look to continue their winning start against the Bulls on Sunday afternoon.
