The deadline has passed for disgraced shotputter Nadzeya Ostapchuk to appeal her positive drugs test at the Olympics.

However it's unclear whether the Belarussian is continuing her fight.

Ostapchuk was stripped of her gold medal in London with Valerie Adams taking the honour.

Adams' manager Nick Cowan says they haven't heard any news on the appeal yet.

"She hadn't appealed late last week to our knowledge so we're just sort of taking a bit of a deep breath and waiting to hear what the outcome has been over the last few days.''

Cowan believes with the weight of evidence it's unlikely Ostapchuk will appeal.
