Disappointing defeats for the New Zealand men's and women's hockey teams as they ramp up preparations for the Olympics.
The Black Sticks men have been beaten 3-2 by the Netherlands in Utrecht while the women have been thrashed 5-1 by Germany at a Four Nations tournament in Monchengladbach.
The women now head to London to the Olympic village for a few days before going crossing the Channel for a match against France later this week.
