English soccer club Plymouth Argyle has signed New Zealand striker Rory Fallon on a new contract lasting until the middle of 2011.
The 26-year-old joined the second division club early in 2007 from Swansea for £300,000 ($779,000) and has made a name for himself this season after initiallystruggling to make an impact.
Fallon was quoted on the Plymouth Argyle club website as saying he had been discussing his future with the club over the past few weeks and was pleased to be able to stay.
"I am settled and, as everyone knows, I go to a good church and my wife Carly and I are having the time of our lives down here," he said.
Since leaving New Zealand, Fallon has also played for Barnsley, Shrewsbury, Swindon and Yeovil.
He has made 39 starting appearances for Plymouth Argyle and has been used as a sub 34 times, scoring 13 goals.
