An agreement has been reached between InfraCore and its employees, following an ongoing pay dispute.
Months of negotiations, including strike action, concluded the day before InfraCore staff began their Christmas break, according to Northern Amalgamated Workers Union organiser Rob Popata.
InfraCore, a council controlled organisation, employs the city's parks, water, civil works and nursery staff.
In a statement prior to the agreement, InfraCore said the dispute related to the company's proposed pay adjustments "to reflect current markets" and the unions' proposal for an across-the-board pay increase.
Popata said the agreement had been reached as a result of successful mediation.
