A local lotto player will be enjoying a midweek cash injection after winning second division powerball in last night's draw.
The ticket, sold at a Countdown Rotorua on Fenton St, pulled in $18,116 for the lucky punter.
Eight other players around the country, including one in Opotiki in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, won second division last night each winning $14,527.

Anyone who bought their ticket from either of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through Lotto NZ's ticket-checker smartphone app.
